Hi! I'm new here, so let me introduce myself. I'm an academic who now works in publishing - a career that I love. I'm married with a 4 year old, and have a cat named Blue. Baking and cooking are my main creative outlets, and I'm thinking about food all the time. I'm always looking through my cookbooks or online, looking for inspiration. I'm technically pescatarian, but eat mostly vegetarian and vegan food. I gravitate towards comforting, nourishing food that's in season.

Trying to enjoy the season's best while it's here. I love the concentrated flavor you get in slow roasted tomatoes. The first pic is cherry tomatoes, caramelized onions and kale over chickpea socca. Second pic is tomatoes over kitchari with an 8-min egg.

This roasted potato hemp pesto salad from the second Oh She Glows cookbook is SO good! This is the second time I've made it in a week! It's lemony & garlicky & perfect for summer.
