My favorite homemade gluten-free teriyaki sauce:
1/4 C GF soy sauce
1 C pineapple juice (water ok but not as tasty)
1/2 t ground ginger (or more! or use fresh grated!)
2-3 minced garlic cloves
1/4 C brown sugar (packed)
1-2 T cornstarch (depending on how thick you like your sauce)
1/4 C cold water
Add everything but the last two ingredients to a pot on stove, bring to boil.
Reduce to medium. Blend starch and water together, add mixture to pot and stir until thickened!
I make #glutenfree and #vegetarian and #vegan food mostly! I love making soy yogurt, and I dream of learning to make the perfect sourdough baguette.
